I graduated from University of Brighton with a First Class Honours Degree in Software Engineering after completing a FdSc eSytems Design and Technology part-time, while working part-time as a professional and technically minded architectural technician with a keen interest in
sustainable design, attention to detail and 3D modelling.
Looking to start a career in software development.
Experience of managing small teams for working drawing packages and running minor works projects on site.
While working as an Architectural Technician I was also responsible for the running of the companies IT infrastructure and associated CAD systems.
In my role as IT Manager I developed several small stand-alone applications in Visual Basic to perform repetitive file operations and was working on an intranet based company information database system using Java Servlets and PHP, before being made redundant in February 2009.
I hold a current full and clean UK driving license.
Recently become a certified first aider for paediatrics.

INTERESTS

Currently teaching myself C++ and Python in my free time, with the aim to progress into the application of AI in software.

Have been involved in charity work in the past, including a three week expedition to Zimbabwe to assist in the construction of a medical centre and the maintenance of facilities at a national park.
